As we headed up the Hudson we stopped in Stony Point, Kingston, and finally Waterford NY. The first day of moving had high winds, the waves on wider portions of the river splashed over the deck giving us a final coating of salt water before we reached freshwater at the Erie Canal.
We really enjoyed the marina in Kingston NY. It had a summer camping feel and other kids around for Matthew and Allison to hang out with.
Finally Waterford offered two nights of free docking with power and water. It was full of Looper boats while we were there. It is a unique thing about this trip that we continually see people you met a week and 100 miles ago.
