It has been a busy couple of weeks for our family. Lots of changes for everyone to get ready to be full time Loopers. Matthew and Allison left Red Mill elementary to start boat school. They both made some good friends this year they plan to keep in touch with.
George stepped away from his career to become the captain of this adventure. George is still getting used to having fewer people to delegate to, and having to do real work.
Melissa packed up our household for the sixth time in ten years. It was getting too easy for her, so we added the challenge of fitting everything we need in a 45 ft boat. We made lots of trips to Goodwill, packed away a few boxes for safekeeping (thanks Julie & Gramma McCurdy), and made untold trips with the dock cart to the boat. We still have too much ballast and need to donate to some marinas along the way.
We were really happy to have visitors to Virginia Beach before we took off on the boat. It was great to see Gramma and Grandpa Zeeff, the Christopher’s, and the Zeeff’s.
